Use and system requirement questions

What if our clinic does not have internet access? Can we still use PTmotions Program Designer?

Yes! A major benefit of our approach is that the software does NOT require internet access to work. Even if your clinic is not online, you can still provide patients professional, detailed instructions via hard copy. Even better, your patients can still access the videos in your programs by following the simple directions in the printed programs.

What if internet access goes down temporarily or is intermittent?

No problem! One of the advantages our approach has is that intermittent, or even non-existent, internet access does not prevent use of the software. You don't stop working when the internet is offline, and neither should your therapy software!

What type of computer is needed to use the software?

Nearly any up to date PC, Mac, or Linux machine can run the software. iPad support will also be available shortly.

What if our clinic does not have a computer or internet access?

If your clinic does not currently have any computers or internet access, PTmotions will be happy to deliver a complete system ready to go. Contact us for options specific to your situation.

Do our patients have to have internet access to make use of the features of Program Designer?

No, internet access is not required. Patients that do not have internet access can be provided printed copies of the exercise therapy you prescribe for them. The printed copies have all of the descriptions, instructions, and images as well as directions for accessing the videos should they get internet access at a later time.
